The taxonomy viewer is build on top of ABRA, an adaptive business reporting automat. It aim is to ease the automated generation of taxonomy documentation in HTML. The taxonomy viewer provides several views on the taxonomy schemas and linkbases. Furthermore, it provides statistical information about the taxonomy e.g. total concepts, item, tupels etc. Users are free to customize the taxonomy viewer for their own needs. For instance, the source code may be adapted to support further output formats like PDF or Excel.
The menu entry "VIEWS" visualises three windows. The linkbase view on the left allows browsing the links of a taxonomy that are related to concepts. The schema view on the top of the right frame shows information that is contained in XML schemas of a taxonomy. The detail view (below the schema view on the right) displays more detailed information about concepts, roles and references.
The "STATISTICS" menu entry provides aggregated information about concepts, links, labels and references.
Change the taxonomy attributes (key, href and default-lang) and the nested title element in the file config.xml and execute the build rule taxonomydoc.
